About me:
I'm quite the film person. I suppose that's the most obvious thing to say, but that being said, I operate, if you will, on a rather low budget, so half the films I really like I don't own, and half the films I do own I don't even like (now that my tastes have matured I don't get gifts). I appreciate both modern and classic cinema, often prefer foriegn film to our own, but whatever's good, I watch. I often watch whatever's bad too..
In any case, among my favorite filmmakers are Stanley Kubrick and Ingmar Bergman. Among my favorite living actors are Tom Cruise (I know, sue me, and then see Magnolia), Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Chris Cooper, Ed Harris, and so on. Among my favorite films are Magnolia, Solyaris, The Seventh Seal, Aliens, The Silence of the Lambs, and many, many more. I also have a weakness for science fiction, whether it be film (Star Wars and such) or television (Firefly, Stargate: Atlantis, surprisingly I know, no Star Trek).
