I&#39m quite the film person. I suppose that&#39s the most obvious thing to say, but that being said, I operate, if you will, on a rather low budget, so half the films I really like I don&#39t own, and half the films I do own I don&#39t even like &#40now that my tastes have matured I don&#39t get gifts&#41. I appreciate both modern and classic cinema, often prefer foriegn film to our own, but whatever&#39s good, I watch. I often watch whatever&#39s bad too..

In any case, among my favorite filmmakers are Stanley Kubrick and Ingmar Bergman. Among my favorite living actors are Tom Cruise &#40I know, sue me, and then see Magnolia&#41, Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Chris Cooper, Ed Harris, and so on. Among my favorite films are Magnolia, Solyaris, The Seventh Seal, Aliens, The Silence of the Lambs, and many, many more. I also have a weakness for science fiction, whether it be film &#40Star Wars and such&#41 or television &#40Firefly, Stargate: Atlantis, surprisingly I know, no Star Trek&#41.
