Phil D's - Profile

My Favorite Movies:

Who am I?

About me:
Collector of movies old and new, domestic and foreign, good and bad. I am interested in all types of music with strong ties to Garage and Punk Rock. Although I don't follow commericial TV shows, I still highly regard shows like The Twilight Zone, One Step Beyond, Star Trek, and my favorite re-discovery of Combat.

I hope this website will inspire major and independant music and DVD labels to release titles from their vaults instead of flooding the market with current releases regardless of their merit.

DVD wishlist includes Duck You Sucker (expanded directors cut,) King Kong, Red Sun (72), The Valachi Papers, Pay Or Die (Ernest Borgnine,) The Revengers (Holden and Borgnine.) The Anderson Tapes, Who's Minding The Mint, The New Centurions, Ballad Of Cable Hogue, What Did You Do In The War Daddy?, Shout At The Devil,The Super Cops, and two-reelers by Laurel and Hardy, Edgar Kennedy, and Leon Errol. We can all expect this list to grow.

DVD Town should take the time to review music VHSand DVD. If the good folks at Waner Brothers heed this site, maybe they will produce worthy DVD treatments of Blondie's Eat To The Beat, Neil Young's Weld, The Best Of Elvis Costello, The Early Go Gos (an early concert at a school - it was on Vestron video,) The Pogues - Live At The Town and Country, Lou Reed and John Cale - Songs For Drella, Lou Reed - Coney Island Baby, New York, Magic and Loss, and of course, The Velvet Underground - 1993.

My Gear:
