Erik Martinez (Staff)

I received my MFA in screenwriting and have written a number of features with my first film going into production later this year. I recieved my undergraduate degree in Film Studies from U.C. Santa Barbara. Before graduate school I spent two years as a writer/editor for CSU Bakersifeld's Runner Newspaper and five years as a staff writer, film critic and columnist for The Bakersfield Californian.













Some of my favorite filmmakers include John Woo (yes he's gone South the last few years but I have faith), Wong Kar Wai, Robert Rodriguez, Billy Wilder, Johnnie To, Buster Keaton, James Cameron, Jean Pierre Melville, Pedro Almodovar, Zhang Yimou, Jean Pierre Jeunet and many others.
